The art of hair styling caught Edwin's interest at the early age of 13. Concentrating on color and highlight techniques, Edwin has been certified in education at the highest level by Goldwell, the finest line of color products available only to professional hair stylists. He has also been using the Goldwell color line exclusively for 15 years.
Edwin began his formal training at Vogue Beauty College in San Antonio. During his professional career, which spans a period of almost twenty years, Edwin has enhanced his skills by traveling around the world learning cutting and color techniques from some of the most respected hair stylists in the industry. In 2005, he attended the famed Wella Institute of Paris. In New York, he studied with such luminaries as Frédéric Fekkai, Tom Despenza, Toni & Guy, John Sahag, Vivienne McKinder and Sam Bracato.
His career has been distinguished by several achievements. He was selected by Saks Fifth Avenue in San Antonio to be one of an exclusive group of hair stylists to work a Chanel Fashion Show. He was also chosen by a prominent distributor of beauty products to teach classes on the art of highlighting.

Chris ranks as a certified colorist with Goldwell, the top-rated line of color products available exclusively to hair stylist professionals. He specializes in dimensional coloring, including highlighting and low-lighting.
Chris has been in the industry for 10 years and continues to refine his techniques and learn new ones. He first studied his craft at San Antonio's well-known and respected Mim's Classic Beauty College. In addition, he studied with Frédéric Fekkai in Chicago. Fekkai is one of the world's most respected hair professionals. Chris perfected his cutting techniques in hands-on classes with Paul Mitchell in Austin and John Sahag.
Recognized as a trend-setter, Chris has been interviewed by Texas Monthly magazine.
